About. The Odyssey Alliance Group seeks to partner with organizational leaders in their journey toward impact, efficiency, and growth, to assist in realizing the initiatives’ full vision, potential and as a result, outcomes. We hope to align with organizations in their journey toward greatness and to turn hurdles and detours into stepping stones. Similar to Odysseus, we want businesses, big and small, not only to arrive at their intended target but put measures in place to ensure they are sustainable and secure in their niche.

Our Purpose
Our vision
We envision a world where every organization's mission contributes to a more equitable, liberated, and sustainable society.
our mission
Our mission is to empower organizations to use data effectively to make informed decisions, measure impact, and scale for sustainable growth, particularly in disenfranchised communities.
our story
Odyssey Alliance stems from the Greek character, Odysseus who left home to protect and sustain his family. Odysseus was blown off course during his return from war, and spent 10 years wandering. He faced all sorts of trials and barriers along the way but continued to press toward his north star - home. Odysseus defeated and conquered every foe against him in order to get back. Yet, upon arriving, he even had to prove he belonged home. The trials of this journey, along with what happened when he finally returned to his homeland, are chronicled in Homer’s epic, “The Odyssey.”
Many leaders set out on this journey to remedy a community imbalance that is resonates deeply with them wither because they feel connected to their stakeholder because they want to give back to improve the quality of life for communities. Regardless of the reason, none of them quite expect the journey towards their vision to be so arduous and full of “adventure”. It can be easy to get derailed and forget why they pursued change in the first place.

I founded Odyssey Alliance because my life has been a journey in pursuit of real, measurable impact. My work with youth, ex-offenders, workforce agencies, and Baltimore school systems revealed a harsh truth: despite dedicated efforts, the conditions in my community and those like it remained stubbornly inequitable. It was a painful realization, born from trauma and reflection, that isolated efforts were not enough. The change needed to be larger, more systemic, and data-driven to truly move the needle.
Attending a Results Based Accountability workshop recently underscored this for me. We examined trends in quality of life indicators over the past twenty years, and the results were heartbreaking. Despite the tireless work of feeding and housing people, attending to basic needs, advocating for policies, and providing coaching and technical assistance, the gap between those most harmed and those closest to power had either widened or remained the same. It was a crushing moment that crystallized my mission: to focus on impact, not just at the direct service level but in sharing what works on a broader scale.
I recommitted myself to teaching leaders how to use data effectively and to tell their stories with that data, ensuring that their efforts translate into long-lasting, sustainable change in our most disenfranchised communities. Together, we can move the needle.
In my career, I've worked for consulting agencies that coached government leaders in data use and school systems in transformative practices. These experiences taught me that while significant efforts were made, true, sustained change requires a genuine desire for impact. I witnessed multimillion-dollar programs and heavily funded organizations struggle to measure their effectiveness, often resulting in performative, superficial efforts that failed to address the deep-rooted inequities.
I realized that the issue wasn't a lack of vision. Many people knew what they wanted to achieve but were lost in the process of turning that vision into reality. The problem was understanding how to measure and achieve impact. What was needed was not more visions but the tools and knowledge to bring those visions to life in a measurable, impactful way.
That's why I founded Odyssey Alliance. We exist to empower organizations to pursue their true path toward impact. We stand with social impact founders, providing impact analysis, strategic planning, leadership coaching, and workforce development to form a coalition that champions change. We believe that every organization's vision is a crucial piece of our nation's equity puzzle.
At Odyssey Alliance, we are dedicated to teaching organizations to measure and achieve impact, establishing systems that reinforce their work, and building sustainable structures of service that amplify their efforts. Our commitment is to help leaders turn their visions into reality, creating long-lasting, meaningful change in the communities that need it most. Together, we can finally move the needle.
